ABOUT US

The Clare College Law Journal is a publication led by students and alumni from Clare College, University of Cambridge. The Journal aims to provide a forum for discussion of prominent legal issues and exploration of diverse legal topics. Each volume contains three parts:
- Part I contains interviews with leading legal figures.
- Part II then provides a curated series of articles on contentious legal areas.
- Part III compiles a series of first-class Cambridge Law Tripos essays, notably covering all mandatory modules of a qualifying undergraduate law degree, and more.
The Clare College Law Journal also strives to ensure that each volume reflects our values of fairness and inclusivity. The Journal has therefore partnered with Matrix Chambers to award the Matrix Chambers Access Prize. This provides the prize of a work placement at the prestigious Matrix Chambers to the author of the best article submitted for consideration, who is from an underrepresented background in the legal profession.
